COVID-19 Service General Information
Evangelist Temple COGIC services are currently suspended until further notice. The following information concerns how services will be conducted when services resume:
We will currently hold one service a week every Sunday beginning at 10:30am. The doors will open 45 minutes (9:45am) prior to the start of service. We are asking attendees to begin arriving between 9:45am-10:15am. Following the recommendations from both local and national officials, we will be implementing several protocols and guidelines to ensure a worship environment that is safe for all in attendance.
Social distancing measures will be implemented, and due to this, our capacity is limited. Members have been divided into a Sunday A & B group for Sunday services June 14th-June 28th. Our team will re-evaluate what future services will hold for all services beginning after July 1st. For visitors who are wanting to worship with us, we have a place just for you!
If you are sick, have a fever (in excess of 100.4 or higher in the past two days), present any signs of cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms (muscle or body aches, chills, sore throat, loss of taste), or if you have been in contact with anyone who has had COVID-19 in the past 14 days, we are asking to please stay home.
Please know that Evangelist Temple COGIC is doing everything possible to ensure a safe worship environment. All attendees are attending at their own risk, and attenddes are free to leave at any time before or during the service.
If you have a child who is 2 or under, or if you are considered to be in a high-risk group (65 years of age and/or have underlying health conditions), we encourage you to continue worshipping with us online.

Guidelines For Your Safety
- A mask must be worn at all times when inside the church. The only exception are for children two and under.
- The only entrance and exit will be through the double-doors located at the front of the church.
- Once you enter the building, an usher will seat you and your family at least 6 feet apart from the next family.
- The sanctuary, vestibule, and restrooms are the only areas available for attendees. All other common areas and facilities are indefinitely closed.
- Hand sanitation stations will be posted throughout the vestibule and sanctuary.
- The sanctuary and all high-touch surfaces will be disinfected immediately following each service.
- The drinking fountain in the vestibule will not be available for use.
- Immediately following service, the moderator for the service will dismiss attendees by family groups to ensure a quick and safe exit. Once your family group is dismissed, we ask to please go directly to your vehicles and to refrain from congregating in the vestibule and/or the parking lot areas.
Thank You!
We know that these circumstances are not ideal, but we thank you for adhering to the guidelines to ensure a safe and welcoming worship environment. Thank you for your continuous support during these challenging times. We hope to see you during our next worship service!
